Jeanette Wille

Jeanette Wille, of Truman, passed away on May 20, 2021 at the age of 94 at Truman Senior Living. 
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at 11 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman with Pastor Timothy A. Chase officiating. Visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Truman. The funeral will be live streamed on the funeral home website following Jeanette’s obituary. Jeanette Lorraine Kettner was born October 5, 1926 in Westford Township to Wilbert and Doris (Schultz) Kettner.  She was confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman and graduated from Truman High School in 1944.  She married Vernon John Wille in Truman on April 22, 1945.  They were blessed with 6 children. Jeanette spent many years working along side Vernon on the farm.  She was involved with 4-H, and a member of the Dorcas church circle.  She enjoyed going on dairy board trips, fishing with family and friends, embroidery, and baking for her grandkids. She also enjoyed watching the MN Twins and spending time in her garden.  In 1988, they retired from farming and moved into Truman, MN.

 Jeanette is survived by her children, Cheryl (Marlin) Niss of Willmar, Alan (Peggy) of Truman, Jerome (Laurie) of Truman, Curt (Denise) of Truman, Wayne (Laura) of Truman; son-in-law Keith (Dawn) Kellen of Aitkin; 13 grandchildren Tammy Kellen Gilbert, Cari Niss, Jason Niss, Kristen Schoen, Jennifer Wille, Brian Wille, Tyler Wille, Dawn Wille, Kevin Wille, Andrew Wille, Ryan Wille, Caitlin Wille, Carter Wille; 13 great-grandchildren Charlie, Katie and Molly Gilbert, Cassie and Adam Ritsche, Andrew Klucas, Gavin and Addison Schoen, Alex, Brooklynn and Linkin Pittman, Kennedy Wille and Lincoln Wille; sister, Joyce Dunn of Tyndall, SD; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon of 72 years, her parents, her daughter Sharon Kellen, and brother-in-law Clyde Dunn.

Memorials are preferred to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and School in Truman or organization of your choice.
