Eugene E Lehman

January 15, 1941 — July 24, 2019

Eugene (Gene) E. Lehman, of Fairmont passed away suddenly on his farm from natural causes on July 24, 2019 at the age of 78.

Gene was born on January 15, 1941 to Clifford and Leona (Brei) Lehman.  Gene spent his whole life farming. He also, through the years, raced late model cars, was a director of Martin Co. Fair, TFE and WFS. He was married to Betty (Baker) Lehman on Nov. 26, 1967. They had two children, Tammy (Lehman) Bulock and Edward Lehman.

Gene enjoyed taking very good care of his farm and was a Jack of all trades. He could do most anything and did it very well. Most recently he and Betty took a cruise through the Panama Canal.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Tamera Bulock, Edward Lehman; grandchildren, Krista (Chris) Thompson, Kari Bulock, Granger, Ridge and Sage Lehman. Great Grandchildren; Cody and Colby, Marley, Nevaeh, Hannah, Kylee, Jonathan, Jakari, Aliyah, mother; Leona Lehman, sister; Elaine (Dick) Poulson, brothers-in-law; Jim (Bonnie) Baker and Kenny Baker, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gene was preceded in death by his father, Clifford Lehman; two infant children; aunt, Charlotte Lehman; one sister-in-law, Marvel Eichoff; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Baker and David Baker; many uncles and other family members.
