William Walter Brownlee

William Brownlee passed away on Thursday May 27, 2021 at The Harbors in Fridley from complications of Parkinson’s disease at the age of 79.  Visitation will be from 12:30-2 PM on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Zaharia Funeral Home in Truman where a service will be held at 2 PM with Penny Ritter officiating. William Walter Brownlee was born September 21, 1941 in Westford Township, Martin County Minnesota, to Eugene and Lucille (Krenz) Brownlee. He enjoyed growing up on the family farm near Truman.  In 1956, Will moved with his Dad, Mom and brother, Arlo to Grand Rapids where he attended Grand Rapids High School, graduating in 1959. Will then moved to Minneapolis where he attended printing school.  Upon completion, he worked for “the Press” working as a printer running huge printing presses until his retirement.  At this time, he and his brother moved back to the family’s lake home.  There he spent many years enjoying the good life.   He will be greatly missed by friends and family. 

William is survived by his brother, Arlo (Gloria) Brownlee; aunts, Arlene Peters and Aralia Taylor and many cousins. 

He is preceded in death by his parents.
