Randall Roloff

February 28, 1957 — June 12, 2023

Adrian

Randall Lynn Roloff born February 28, 1957, of Adrian Minnesota formerly of Truman Minnesota, passed peacefully in his home on Monday June 12, 2023.  A celebration of his life will be held at 1pm Monday June 26. Visitation will be from 11-1p both at Zaharia Funeral Home.

Randall, son of Gary Lee and Gwendolyn (VanBrunt) Roloff of Truman, attended and graduated Truman high school, class of 1975. He briefly attended Waseca Technical college where he studied animal science.

After college, he met Jill (Christensen) Roloff and they were united in marriage on September 1, 1978, and shared 25 years together. They made their home in rural Truman, MN where they raised their three children Emily, Alyse, and KristeforLee.

Randall was a remarkably busy man, he loved to work and had many jobs over the years some of which include, American Western Plastics (Fairmont), Habilitative Services Incorporated (Fairmont), Truman American Legion, the Sioux Falls convention center, and most recently Tangent Technologies (Worthington). Along the way Randall also was the proud owner of a few businesses. Country Pets, and currently Howie’s Floral & More and Top Notch Florist.

When Randall was not working, he was involved in many community clubs and activities. He was a member of the Truman Jaycees and most recently, the Adrian Town and Country club, the SD florist association, a judge for the FPA, several vendor and craft fairs, a volunteer and sponsor of the Olde Town Dinner Theatre in Worthington.

In 2011 Randall moved to Adrian where he bought his home and met his now partner Marlyn Luitjens (Howie). Together they opened a flower shop (Howie’s Floral). The two of them loved their community and their many friends in the area.

Randall loved animals, the outdoors, and the little things in life.  He was always saving things, whether it be a stray cat or a plant that needed some TLC. When his children were young, he loved to attend their activities, where he often ran along side, yelling to “just keep going”, something he said often throughout his lifetime. Randall was the proud papa of 9 grandchildren all of which he cherished; he left them all with many fond memories of time with Papa.  Randall made many friends and was a father figure to many along the way.  Randall always said, “life’s a party” and lived his life to the fullest.

Left to cherish his memory, partner Marlyn Luitijens (Howie), 3 children: Emily Roloff, (Amber Pitcher) their children Alex, Gage and Lakyn. Alyse Roloff her children, Madison and Hayden. KristeforLee, his children Kegan, Alexis, Keura, and Kenzlee. Siblings, Lanette Roloff (Steven), LonnieLee Roloff (Tina). Along with many nieces and nephews.

Randall is preceded in death by his father Gary Lee Roloff, mother Gwendolyn Roloff, brother Scott Roloff, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
