Lillian Marie Kuhlman (Greiner), age 93 of Lewisville, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018 at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville. Visitation will be 5:00pm-7:00pm Monday, April 16, 2018 at Zaharia Family Funeral Home 102 E. Ciro St in Truman. Funeral services will be 10:30am Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville, with Rev. John Bennett officiating. Lillian Marie Greiner was born April 14th, 1924 in Antrim Township, Minnesota the daughter of Walter and Hattie Greiner. Lillian was baptized and confirmed at Antrim Lutheran Church. Lillian attended the rural Antrim Country School and later Truman High School where she graduated in 1943. Lillian married Merrill Kuhlman on April 9th, 1944, in Paris, Texas. After Merrill’s military service was complete they moved to their farm in Fieldon Twp just north of Lewisville, MN. This is where they lived the rest of their lives and raised their 5 sons and 1 daughter. In their later years they enjoyed wintering in Yuma, AZ with family and friends. Lillian was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville, MN where she served as a Sunday school teacher, Ladies Aid president/member, and Lydia’s sewing circle. She was also a member of the Lewisville American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and Lewisville Kitchen Band which played at retirement homes, social events and parades. Lillian enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching, listening to polka music on KNUJ, card playing (very good), and taking care of her farm cats. She also enjoyed watching her Grandchildren and having friends and family visit. Lillian is survived by her children; Michael Kuhlman of New York, NY, Gerald (Kayla) Kuhlman of Bloomington, Kevin (Lynn) Kuhlman of Eagan, Roger (Deb) Kuhlman of Lewisville, Diane (James Nielsen) Kline of Eagan sister; Irene (Cliff) Engrud of Scottsdale, AZ, brother-in-law Hartwin Kietzer of Truman, sister’s-in-law Laura Greiner of CO, Molly Kuhlman of Winthrop, Mn and Ruth Ann Shaw of Mansfield, OH, 9 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband; Merrill, son, Larry Kuhlman, sister; Iona Kietzer, and brother; Lyle Greiner.
