Gloria was born on August 13, 1941 in Long Prairie to Frank and Ragnhild (Granlund) Pesta. She attended school in Long Prairie. On January 28, 1961, Gloria married Duane Lloyd Drevlow in Clarissa, Minnesota. The couple settled in Long Prairie before moving to Truman in 1970. Throughout her life, Gloria held several jobs. Gloria enjoyed going for car rides, playing cards, watching the birds, squirrels, and the granddogs. The coffee pot was always on, she enjoyed people dropping by for a visit. She also enjoyed having the family over for a big meal. Above all, she loved her family. She enjoyed watching her children play sports as they grew up, and later watching her grandkids grow up as well. She was so proud of her grandchildren and created many cherished memories, among them were listening to impromptu concerts, watching plays, fashion shows, fixing late night snacks during sleepovers, and making the “best toast”.
