Beatrice "Bea" Elaine Behrens

Beatrice “Bea” Elaine Ringeisen Behrens, age 95, of Truman, MN, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Truman Senior Living. Visitation will be from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Zaharia Family Funeral Home 102 E. Ciro Street in Truman.  A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman, with Rev. Krista Strum officiating. Burial will follow at the Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont. Online condolences may be left atwww.zahariafamilyfuneral.com Bea was born on December 12, 1921 to Christian and Hazel (Lewis) Nielsen in Fairmont Township, MN. She graduated from Fairmont High School in 1939. On October 3, 1941she married Marland Ringeisen at the Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont, they divorced in 1966. She later married Sylvan Behrens on February 15, 1975 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman. Bea enjoyed fishing, gardening, making apple crisp, popcorn balls, buns, caramel rolls, and traveling with Sylvan to Canada, Europe, Alaska, and Texas for the winter. Bea is survived by her children Donald (Jane) Ringeisen of Manitowish Waters, WI, Ken (Mary Sue) Ringeisen of Fairmont, Ruth (Dean) Sandberg of Fairmont, step-children Bob (Marge) Behrens of St Louis, MO,  Jerome (Kathy) Behrens of St. Paul, Barb Pulis (Dave) of Mankato, 5 grandchildren,  8 step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Bea was preceded in death by her husband Sylvan, grandson Bobby Ringeisen, sister and brother in-law Doris (Edwin) Maloney, and her parents. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Lakeside Cemetery or Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman.
