Truman- Funeral services for Lorraine Ottomoeller, 93, Truman, Minn. will be held on Thursday July 27, 2017, at 10:30 am at Zion Lutheran Church-Fraser, rural Fairmont, Minn. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will take place in the church cemetery following the service. Online condolences may be left at www.zahariafamilyfuneral.com. Lorraine died Monday morning July 24, 2017, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center. Visitation will be held 9:30 Thursday morning, at the Zion-Fraser Church. Lorraine Deloris Ottomoeller (Zenk) was born May 24, 1924 in Antrim Township, Minn. to Herman and Alvina Zenk. Lorraine attended school and church in Lewisville. Lorraine married Paul Ottomoeller on September 23, 1948 at Zion Lutheran Church Lewisville, Minn. Following their marriage, they made their home on the Ottomoeller family farm in Waverly, Minn. While Paul was serving his country in the military, Lorraine was employed at Railroad Motors, Fairmont, during the war years. Lorraine and Paul moved into Truman upon retiring from farming in 1995. Lorraine was an active church member of Zion-Fraser. Joyfully enjoyed playing cards with friends and grandchildren, Lorraine also enjoyed crafting. She won many blue ribbons for her entries in the Martin County fair through the years. Upon Paul’s death on June 17th,2006 she stayed in their Truman home until she moved into Lakeview Methodist Spring of 2011. Lorraine continued her crafting and card playing with other residents and volunteers of the Lakeview Methodist. Lorraine is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Roland and Rhonda of Clarissa, MN, Garry and Mikki of Ramsey, MN, and Keith of Winona, MN. Grandchildren: Chelsie and husband Levi, Chase, Chanda, Tara, Cole and wife Ashley, Great-grandchildren: Garrison, Madison, Kyler, Kadin and sister-in-law Rosaleen Zenk. Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings, and grandson Cody. The Ottomoeller family would like to thank Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center for the care and TLC that Lorraine and Paul received while living there. We are so grateful for your caring staff, residents and volunteers. Thank you.
