Funeral services for Marilyn L. Duncanson, 67, Truman, MN will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, Truman. Interment will be held at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, rural Truman. Marilyn died at her home in Truman on Thursday, June 1, 2017. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 5-7:00 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman and one hour before the services in the church. Further arrangements are pending with Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman. Marilyn Lavonne Krueger was born November 2, 1949 to Harvey and Alvina (Gisch) Krueger at Fairmont Community Hospital. She was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church in Ormsby. She was confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Truman. She lived on a Tilney farm by Truman until she moved near Beardsley, MN in January 1957 with her family. In October 1959 she moved back to Truman. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School, Beardsley Public School, and Truman Public School. She worked at Alumacraft in St. Peter, MN for several years and then Armour and ConAgra until they closed. She then became an NAR at Lutheran Retirement Home and Truman Senior Living. She then worked at Trimont Nursing Home, and for the past year at Walmart in Fairmont. She married Clayton Duncanson March 8, 1987 at St. John’s Lutheran Church-Antrim. They had one son, Christopher Ethan. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman. Marilyn loved all her family, they were important to her. Her nieces and nephews will always remember her as will the rest of the family. She is survived by her husband, Clayton and son, Christopher of Truman; step-children, Nathan (Lan), Jeremy , Andrew (Kristy), Peter (Joanne), Becky (Gary), Sam (Laila), and Joanna (Charles); sister, Carole (Harvey) Weiderhoeft, Truman; brothers James (Rita) Krueger, Bethany, MO, Duane (Nancy), Augusta, KS; brother-in-law, Jerry (Marilee); sister-in-law Joyce (Jim) Boardson; 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Alvina Krueger. www.zahariafamilyfuneral.com
