Lorena “Toots” Mau, 103 of Truman passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Lutz Wing Mayo Health System in Fairmont. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Friday, June 3, 2016 at the Waverly Lutheran Church in rural Trimont, with Rev. Anthony Christoffels officiating. Burial will follow in the Waverly Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Zaharia Family Funeral Home in Truman, and 1 hour before the service at the church. Online condolences can be made at www.zahariafamilyfuneral.com She was born March 15, 1913, in Lakefield MN., the daughter of Albert and Wilhelmina(Schwanz) Becker. She attended the parochial school in South Branch. She was married to Herbert Mau on September 23, 1933, in St. James. They lived and farmed in Waverly Township, retiring and moving to Truman in 1969. She was a member of Waverly Lutheran Church in Rural Trimont, and was a member of the Ladies Aid and many of the church circles. She is survived by her son, Lloyd Mau, grandchildren, Michael Mau, Steven (Gwen) Mau, Dale (Ginger) Mau, Michelle (Brad) Breitbarth, Jason (Kathy) Mau, Kristy (Brian) Stwalley, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, son, Lee, one grandson, and one great-granddaughter, parents, and eight siblings.
