Jean Roseanne Kietzer, 33, died August 16th at her home in Scottsdale, AZ. Service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 28th, at St. John’s Lutheran Church – Willow Creek. Interment will be at Willow Creek Cemetery – North. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27th, at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman, MN.
Jean Roseanne Kietzer was born September 19, 1981 in Madelia, MN to James and Pamela (Riesenberg) Kietzer. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church – Willow Creek. She also attended St. John’s Parochial School – Willow Creek for grades K-7. She graduated from Truman High School in 2000. Following high school Jean continued her education at Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN, then Presentation College in Fairmont, MN. She graduated with a BSN degree in nursing in 2007.
Jean worked as registered nurse for the past 8 years. She worked at a variety of hospitals from Fairmont, MN to Missoula, MT to Minneapolis, MN to Scottsdale, AZ. She enjoyed being a nurse and helping people. She was adventurous and enjoyed living in Arizona with her fiancé, Jason. She liked spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her parents, James and Pamela Kietzer of Vernon Center, MN; fiancé Jason Dobie of Scottsdale, AZ; sisters, Joanna Borkenhagen and her husband Mike of Truman, MN and Jamie Kietzer of Plymouth, MN; brother, Jeremy Kietzer and his fiancée Katie Rosa of Fairmont, MN; paternal grandmother, Marilyn Kietzer of Vernon Center, MN; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her uncles, Jeff Kietzer, Bill Riesenberg, and John Riesenberg; grandparents, Leland Kietzer, Tony and Aldine Riesenberg.
