Daryle Richard Maloney

Daryle Richard Maloney, 75, of Lewisville, Minnesota passed away, Thursday, May 7, 2015. Visitation will be Monday, May 11 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman. Funeral services for Daryle will be held at the St. James United Methodist Church, on Tuesday, May 12 at 11:00 pm with Pastor Clint Firstbrook, III presiding. Lunch will be served following the funeral service. Daryle will be laid to rest at the Lakeside Cemetery in Fairmont, MN. Daryle was born July 22, 1939 in Fairmont, MN to James A. and Rose (West) Maloney. He was the youngest of nine children growing up with four brothers and four sisters. He graduated from Truman Public High School in 1957. He wed Mary (Nelson) in St. James, Minnesota on June 17, 1961 which began 53 years of marriage. His love for the outdoors and working the land made farming a perfect occupation. He had a talent for ‘fixin’ things and a great appreciation for classic cars. His sense of humor and generous heart leave many wonderful memories for family, friends and neighbors. Daryle is survived by his wife Mary (Nelson) Maloney and their three children and eight grandchildren; Eldest son Scott Maloney and his wife Sheila (Milbredt) of Lewisville, MN and grandchildren Casey, Jason, Cleo and Mikala Maloney; Son Jeff Maloney and his wife LeAnn (Stough) of Lewisville, MN and grandchildren Jordan, Austin, Jackson and Mason Maloney; Daughter Deb Maloney of Schaumburg, IL. Three loving sisters Ruth Greier of Lewisville, MN, Delores Wellman (Ronald) of St James, MN and Betty Williams (Tyler) of Dunnell, MN, sisters-in-law Sherry Maloney of Richland Center, WI, Delilah Maloney of Truman, MN along with many nieces, nephews and extended family. Daryle is preceded in death by his parents James A. and Rose Maloney, brothers Edwin and Doris Maloney of Truman, MN, Ronald Margie Maloney of Madelia, MN, Ralph Maloney of Richland Center, WI, James Maloney of Truman, MN, sister Marabelle and Raymond Stueber of Fairmont, MN, brother-in-law Leroy Greier of Lewisville, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. James United Methodist Church, St James, MN.
