Private family memorial services for Thomas Dale Ratcliffe, 30, Truman, MN will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman. Thomas died on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Underwood, IA. Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 from 5-8:00 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service of Truman. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Thomas Dale Ratcliffe was born on February 8, 1985 to James and Jennie (Marsh) Ratcliffe in Blue Earth, MN. Tom attended school at Truman, graduating in 2003. He attended truck driving school in Canby, MN through Minnesota West Technical College. In 2005, Tom started his own business and bought his first truck and trailer and was a self-employed driver hauling grain. He hauled livestock, grain and just started refrigeration hauling. Tom was a member of the United Methodist Church in Amboy where he was baptized and confirmed. His hobby was his work and he took great pride in it. Tom loved being an uncle and spending time with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his special friend, Joni. Thomas is survived by his father, James Ratcliffe, Truman, MN; two brothers, Justin (Tiffany) Ratcliffe, Granada, MN and Lucas (Heather) Ratcliffe, Ceylon, MN; one sister, Bobbi Jo (Ed) Connell, Blue Earth, MN; special friend, Joni Munson, Mason City, IA; maternal grandmother, Ellen Marsh, Winnebago; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
