Norma Lillian Grefe

Norma Lillian Becker was born on September 20, 1925 in rural Rutland Township, Martin County, MN to Henry and Clara (Greier) Becker. She attended school in Fairmont and graduated from Fairmont High School. On February 8, 1948 Norma was united in marriage to Arthur Dietrich Grefe at St. James Lutheran Church in Northrop. They lived and farmed in Westford Township until the mid 1980's. They moved to Truman in 1976. Arthur died on September 18, 2005. Norma moved into Truman Senior Living in 2009. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Northrop and the Ladies Aid. Norma loved to knit, play cards and go dancing with Art. Norma died on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Truman Senior Living. Norma is survived by two sons, Bryce Grefe and his wife Karen of Weymouth, MA, Mark Grefe and his wife Sandy of rural Truman, MN; two granddaughters, Richelle (Gerry) Strauser and their daughter, Janelle, Jacy (Dale) Kosbab and their son Jack; one sister, Lorraine Vogt, Truman; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Twyla Grefe; two sisters, Laura Rosen and Irene Schwieger; one brother, Ralph Becker; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Memorial contributions may be given to St. James Lutheran Church, Northrop or to Martin Luther High School, Northrop.
