Cleva Zempel

Cleva was born on November 22, 1918 in Martin County, MN to George and Cora (Livingston) Lovell. On December 1, 1936 she was united in marriage to Merton C. Zempel. Two children were born into this union. Mrs. Zempel passed to her eternal home on August 21, 2014 in Arizona. Cleva is survived by her daughter, Gerry Kesselring of Arizona and son, Dale Zempel (Barbara) of Minnesota; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 5 great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merton (1980); four sisters and spouses, Avis, Lela (Leslie) Canon, Mary Helen (Verle) Lloyd, Mavis (Gordon) Grunewald; daughter-in-law, Debra Zempel (2011) and son-in-law, Larry Kesselring (2014). Family and friends are invited to a reception at Zaharia Family Funeral & Cremation Service following the interment for refreshments.
