Robert Willard Winter was born on November 3, 1944 to Willard and Mary Winter in Maryland. He attended schools in the Washington D.C. area graduating from Washburn High School. Bob attended college in Topeka, KS where he gained a degree in social work and later his law degree. He served in the US Army stationed in South Korea. He also served on several bases in the U.S. as military police. Bob married Rose Ann in 1971 and she died in 2002. In 2003 Bob was united in marriage to Joyce (Gunderson) Jacobson in Mound, MN. Bob worked as a corrections officer, social worker, private security and was proud to be a licensed Baptist Minister at Community Baptist Church in Truman. Bob loved soaring and preaching and especially spending time with his wife. He enjoyed reading, philosophy and his dogs and cats. Bob was a member of Fairmont United Methodist Church. Bob died on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems-Springfield, MN. Bob is survived by his wife, Joyce "Gina? of Truman and one recently reunited half-brother, Patrick Evans of Vermont. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Rose Ann.
