Wade Claude Steele

Wade Claude Steele was born on November 22, 1971 in Fairmont, MN to Bill and Nancy (Lubenow) Steele. He was baptized and confirmed at the United Church of Christ in Ceylon. Wade attended and graduated from Ceylon High School. On August 2, 1997 Wade was untied in marriage to Tracy Davis at St. John's Lutheran Church-South Branch, rural St. James, MN. To this union they were blessed with three daughters, Jenna, Lexie and Marah. They lived in Fairmont until August of 1998 when they moved to Sherburn. Wade worked at Kmart from 1990 until 1996 when he began working for Pure Fishing until his death. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sherburn. Wade loved to fish all year long. He also enjoyed camping and camp fires, volleyball, softball and was a big 49'ers fan. The girls' favorite memories with their Dad usually involved fishing and spending time outdoors. Wade was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, April 15, 2013 from his home in Sherburn. Wade is survived by his wife, Tracy of Sherburn and their three daughters, Jenna, Lexie and Marah; parents, Bill and Nancy Steele, Ceylon, MN; two sisters, Georgia Steele, Champlin, MN, Gina (Kirk) Jorgensen, Fairmont, MN; two brothers, Jeff Steele, St. Paul, MN, Lee (Kathy) Steele, Estherville, IA; Tracy's parents, Charles and Lois Davis, Fairmont, MN; two sisters-in-law, Teresa (Brad) Berhow, Fairmont, Tammy (Scott) Wokash, Truman, MN; one brother in law, Tim (Lynn) Davis, Truman, MN and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Wade's benefit that will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Martin County West High School or can be sent to US Bank in Fairmont.
