James Robert Dollen

James (Jim) Robert Dollen Sr. was born on January 24th 1948 in Fairmont MN. Jim graduated from Fairmont High School in 1966 where his passion was FFA. He also enjoyed running the family farm on the Dollen corner near Rose Lake Golf Course. In 1969 he married the love of his life, Maralee "Weber?, in his parents' home in Blue Earth. Jim loved being an over the road trucker traveling throughout the United States for over 35 years. Jim became a United States Truck Driving Instructor for a number of years before becoming an owner operator. Jim passed away peacefully at home, while surrounded by his family on November 17, 2012. Survived by: Wife of 43 years Maralee, and four children: Maria and (Tom) Hinz, Robert "Kevin? and (Marjorie) Dollen, Dawn and (Keith Fitzpatrick), James Jr. "Jimmy? and (Nikki) Dollen: foster daughter Eva and (Darin) Wagner: one brother, George and (Karen) and one sister, Sandy Dollen Broviak and (Kenny); 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; Lifelong friends, Don and Roxie Hughes, Gary and Linda Nielson. Preceded in death by parents, Bob and Ruth Dollen and grandson Cody Dollen. Jim will be greatly missed
