Terry Lee Tetzloff

Terry Lee Tetzloff was born on November 12, 1958 in Madelia, MN to Willard and Barbara (Klutz) Tetzloff. He was baptized on November 30, 1958 at St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim. On May 6, 1973 Terry was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville. Terry attended Truman Public School and graduated in May, 1977. He attended Mankato Vocational Technical Institute for Agriculture Production from 1977-1979. After school, Terry ran a pea combine for Stokely/Fairmont Foods for several years. He also farmed with his father for Tilney Farms from 1979-1999. He worked part-time at Truman Farmer's Elevator and for John Deere from 1995-1999. Since 2000, Terry worked for Maloney Milky View Farms and he managed a nursery barn for K & J Pork for several years. Terry was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim. Terry was active with the Lewisville Fire Department and it's Relief Association where he served as secretary for both. He was also active in the Lewisville Commercial Club and the Truman Gun Club. Terry enjoyed animals of all kinds whether they where farm animals or pets. He was often heard singing or whistling as he worked on the farm or in the fields. Terry enjoyed kids and treating them with candy and gifts. For the past 14 years, he was Santa Claus in Lewisville. Terry enjoyed going up to the family deer hunting cabin to shoot the "turdy point? or to gather with family and friends. He enjoyed eating out and trying new things. He loved to make others happy and get them laughing. Terry died on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Mayo Health Systems-Mankato as a result of a blood borne infection that led to a heart attack and multiple strokes. Terry is survived by his mother, Barbara of Lewisville; one sister, Sandy; two brothers, David, Jerome and Fiancé, Julie Bachmann, all of Lewisville; aunts, uncles and many cousins.
