Lyle Albert Greiner

Lyle Albert Greiner was born on March 23, 1930, on the family farm near Truman, son of Walter and Hattie (Becker) Greiner. He graduated from Truman High School on May 31, 1949. He was married to Laura L.G. Miller at Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville on October 24, 1953. After their marriage they continued to live on the family farm until the present. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Lyle always told people that he was born in the northwest corner of the mile and when he is laid to rest he was be in the southwest corner of the same section! Lyle died Friday, June 15, 2012, at his home. Lyle is survived by his wife Laura Greiner of Truman; children: Michele (Rick) Siem of Platteville, Colo.; Colette (Douglas) Landsteiner of Fairmont, Monte (Svetlana) Greiner of Minneapolis, Jayme Greiner (and friend Tammy Hebert) of Wellington, Colo., Jodelle Greiner of Fairmont, Celeste Cummins of Storm Lake, Iowa; sisters, Lillian Kuhlman, Irene (Clifford) Engerud, Iona (Hartwin) Kletzer, sisters-in-law, Darlene Miller and Avis (Raymond) Roiger, brother-in-law Melvin Miller, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.
