Arnold Erbert Block was born on June 15, 1940 in Mankato, MN to Erbert and Louise (Riewe) Block. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church-Willow Creek. Arnold attended parochial school at St. John's Lutheran Church-Willow Creek and graduated from Truman High School. Arnold farmed for a while before going to work for Stokley Van Camp in Winnebago and Fairmont. After disability forced him to stop working, he raised poultry on his hobby farm. Arnold loved cooking and canning, playing cards, dancing, his poultry and hosting parties. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church-Willow Creek and the Eagle's Club of Albert Lea, MN. Arnold died on Wednesday, September 7, 2010 at Mayo Health Systems-Mankato.
Arnold is survived by two brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Noreen Kilmer, Donna Kilmer.
