Evelyn Louise Robinson was born on November 9, 1930 in Kingsley, IA to James E. and Alma C. (Fahrenkrug) Robinson. She attended country school near Kingsley and later went to the public school in Kingsley. In 1948, Evelyn was united in marriage to James Delaney. They later divorced. In 1966, Evelyn was united in marriage to Keith Dunn. He died in 1997. Evelyn worked for Iowa Beef Packers in Dakota City, NB, Lincoln Green Apartments and Camelback Manor in Phoenix, AZ until retirement. In 1998, Evelyn moved to Truman and she entered the nursing home in 2009. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Truman. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, crafts and crossword puzzles. She loved to spend time with her family. Evelyn died on Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the Fairmont Medical Center, Fairmont, MN.
Evelyn is survived by 4 daughters, Del Tompkins (Dick) of Sioux City, IA, DeAnna Baker of Butte, MT, Sharon Oaks (Ray) of Peru, IN, Kathy Bosshart (Carl) of Truman, MN; 4 sons, Jim Delaney (Nancy) of Olathe, KS, Charles Delaney of Warner Robins, GA, Dennis Delaney (Jill) of S. Sioux City, NB, Scott Dunn of Fairmont, MN; 20 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy and JoAnn. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Keith; and three brothers, Glen, Cecil and Lavern.
