Susan Jean Scherick

Susan Jean Albrecht was born on April 20, 1959 in Chesterland, OH to Lloyd and Bettie Jean (Hall) Albrecht. She attended and graduated from West Geauga High School in Ohio. Susan met and married Charles Scherick in Ohio. In 1982, they moved to Truman and later moved to Lewisville where they raised their four children. Susan worked at Tony Downs in Madelia and she worked at the Cenex Gas Station in Truman. Susan enjoyed puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and building things. Susan died on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Fairmont Medical Center. Susan is survived by her husband, Charles of Lewisville; one daughter, Heather Ratcliffe (Lucas) of Swea City, IA; three sons, Adam Scherick, Lewisville, Dustin Scherick, Lewisville, Travis Scherick (Allyssa) of Fairmont; three grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth Thomas (Dennis), CO, Theresa Jenek (Frank), OH, Joyce (Dan), OH; four brothers, Dennis Albrecht, Dan Albrecht, Doug Albrecht, John Albrecht; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Timothy; one brother, Jim Albrecht.
