Charlotte Gellert

Charlotte Prindle, daughter of James and Olga Prindle, was born February 7, 1915. She married Orloff (Roundy) Gellert. After their marriage they made their home in Fairmont. Charlotte attended Fairmont High School and was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church in Fairmont where she was in the first confirmation class. She was also a lifetime member of the Fairmont Community Hospital Auxiliary. She worked as a clerk for several business firms in Fairmont. Mrs. Gellert died Monday, February 23, 2009 at Golden Living Center West in Rochester, MN. Survivors include granddaughters Pamela Gellert of Rochester, MN; Vicki Quinn of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and Nancy Miller (Jimmy) of Colorado Springs, CO; and great grandchildren Brian Cain (Mandy) of Dodge Center, MN; Erin Helfrich (John) of Salt Lake City, UT; and Savannah and Jackson Miller of Colorado Springs, CO. She was looking forward to the June arrival of her first great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son and daughter-in-law Gene and Ardis Gellert and her brother Robert Prindle. Memorials may be sent to Seasons Hospice, Grace Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
