Alfred Walter Reinke

Alfred Walter Reinke was born on December 28, 1937 to Walter and Amanda (Bock) Reinke at the old Truman Hospital in Truman, MN. Alfred attended School Dist. 74 in Westford Township, St. Paul's Lutheran Parochial School and graduated from Truman High School in 1955. He farmed outside of Truman and worked various jobs in the area until retiring in the mid 1990's. Alfred moved into Truman in 2005. Alfred was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he served on the cemetery board. Alfred also served on the Martin County Planning and Zoning Board and was a member of the JayCee's. Alfred died on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at his home in Truman. Alfred is survived by one brother, Jerry (Donna) Reinke of Fairmont, MN; one nephew, Jeffrey Reinke of Canton, SD; two nieces, Laurie (Kevin) Rich of Sioux Falls, Jill (Jay) Burmeister of Fairmont; four great nephews, Josh and Kolby Reinke, Keith Rich, Christian Burmeister; one great, great nephew, Jacob Reinke; two uncles; one aunt and numerous cousins. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Amanda Reinke.
