Gerhard Ulrich Knaak

Gerhard Ulrich Knaak was born on December 25, 1921 in Antrim Township, rural Lewisville, MN to Oskar and Emelie (Arndt) Knaak. He attended school at District 5, rural Lewisville. Gerhard was a baptized and confirmed member of Trinity Lutheran Church-Fieldon. On September 23, 1985 Gerhard was united in marriage to Marian Adams. They lived on the family farm together. Gerhard recently moved into the Lake Crystal Health Care Center. Mr. Knaak died on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at the Lake Crystal Health Care Center in Lake Crystal, MN. Gerhard is survived by his wife, Marian, Olivia, MN; two brothers, Erich Knaak, Lewisville, MN, Oscar Knaak and his wife Jane of Madelia; two sisters, Orlanda Zellmer, Lewisville and Malinda Reinke and her husband Leo of Lewisville. Gerhard was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Waldemar and Arnold.
