Irmgard Doolittle

Irmgard Stehl was born on July 9, 1921 in Fritzlar, Germany to Christian Karl and Anna Katharina (Bohne) Stehl. She grew up and attended school in Germany. Irmgard married Donald Doolittle in Fritzlar, Germany on February 21, 1959. Irma moved to Minnesota in 1961. Mrs. Doolittle died Tuesday evening, September 11, 2007 at her home in Truman. Irmgard is survived by her husband, Donald Doolittle, Truman, MN; two daughters, Ilona Strovers (Wayne), Boone, IA, Monika Cobb (Robert), Jacksonville, FL; five sons, Ludwig Stehl (Anita), Geismar, Germany, Rudolf Stehl, Fritzlar, Germany, Gunther Stehl, Fritzlar, Germany, Martin Stehl (Erin Marie), Ponte Vedra, FL, John Doolittle (Julie), Jacksonville, FL; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one step brother, Otto Stehl, Koblets, Germany. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Martina; three brothers; two sisters and one sister-in-law. Memorial contributions may be given to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
