Vivian Ruth Miller was born on September 7, 1928 in St. Paul. She was raised by her parents, Henry and Minnie (Augst) Miller outside Ormsby, MN. She graduated from St. James High School in 1946. After beauty school in Mankato, she owned and operated the Cinderella Beauty Shop in Truman for several years.
Vivian and Donald Dodge were married September 17, 1949 at Waverly Lutheran Church and lived near Truman where they farmed. Mrs. Dodge was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Rachel Circle, the American Legion Auxiliary, Interlaken Golf Club and the Prairie Star Quilters. Her family and friends brought enormous joy to her life. Mrs. Dodge also enjoyed golf, travel and a passion for quilting.
Vivian is survived by her husband of 57 years, Donald of Fairmont; daughters, Dianna Erickson and husband David of Blaine, MN, Kathleen Zoeller and husband Stevan of Collierville, TN; son, Thomas of Truman; grandsons, Johnathan Zoeller and wife Amy of Houston TX, Benjamin Zoeller and wife Megan of Nashville, TN, Zachary Zoeller of Memphis, TN, Adam Erickson of Minneapolis; one granddaughter, Sara Erickson of Grand Prairie, TX; and one great grandchild, Owen Zoeller of Houston.
Mrs. Dodge was preceded in death by her father, Henry Miller; mother, Minnie Miller (Senne); Brother Elmo Miller and brother-in-law Richard Wade.
Memorial contributions are preferred to the charity of the donor's choice.
