Helen Jane Neuenfeldt was born on April 29, 1950 in Mankato, MN to William and Ursula (Urban) Neuenfeldt. She was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville. She attended school in Lewisville and Truman. Helen moved to Rosemount, MN to live with her brother and help with his children. She moved back to Lewisville in the early 1970's. Helen worked at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman as a cook for over fifteen years. In 1992, Helen moved to St. James and continued to work in Truman. She worked at Con-Agra for a couple of years and then worked for ten years at Cenex-NuWay in St. James. Helen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville. She collected angels, enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
Helen is survived by two sons, Robert Neuenfeldt, Odin, MN and Ryan Neuenfeldt, Bloomington, MN; two grandsons, Bryant and Bryce Neuenfeldt, Odin, MN; one brother, Henry Neuenfeldt and his wife Pat, Annandale, MN; two sisters, Lois Davis and her husband Charles, Fairmont, MN and Ruth Ann Frazier and her husband James of Waterville, MN and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dean and James.
