William Frederick Merrill Neilson

William Frederick Merrill Neilson was born on September 13, 1924 in Keene, New Hampshire. He became a resident of the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman on April 7, 2004. Mr. Neilson is surviveed by his sister, Leigh Boutin and her husband Coogan of Lebanon, New Hampshire. William is also survived by his son, Stephan Dion of Rock Springs, Wyoming, and his granddaughter, Stephannie Langager and her husband Alan of rural Granada, Minnesota. Mr. William Neilson was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife, Evalyn. He has touched many lives and will be truly missed. His wonderful stories of his time at sea and his adventures of hunting we will miss, but most of all we will miss him. Dad, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend, you will never be forgotten; you will always be on our minds and in our hearts. For our lives have been forever changed because the blessing he was to us.
