Irene Lillian Senne

Irene Lillian Wagner was born on September 26th, 1918 on the family farm near Guckeen, MN, to Iver and Isabel (Nerheim) Wagner. Irene was baptized in 1918 and confirmed in 1932, both at Trinity Lutheran Church, Blue Earth, MN. She attended country school in Jo Daviess Township. On August 27th, 1939, she was united in marriage to Earl William Senne at Trinity Lutheran Church in Blue Earth. They lived most of their life in Granada, MN. In 1990 they moved into Fairmont. Earl died on May 28th, 2001. She moved into the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman in November of 2005. She was a member of the Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church, Fairmont. Irene loved spending time with her family. Irene is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Erlene Milbrandt and husband Kent and Deb Rock and husband Kim, all of Fairmont; two sons and daughters-in-law, Duane Senne and wife Leann of Fairmont and Ivan Senne and wife Nora of Mankato; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and three brothers, Marvin, Kenneth and Wayne.
