Phyllis Faye Butcher was born August 29th, 1924 in Jackson, MN to Reuben and Emma (Thompson) Butcher. She attended school in Jackson. Phyllis lived in Jackson until the early 1950's when she moved to Fairmont. She moved to Mankato in the mid 1990's. Phyllis was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Mankato.
Phyllis is survived by two sisters, Vivian Heideman and Bonnie Carter, both of Fairmont; two nieces, Nancy Strom, Debbie Fritz; five nephews, Larry Heideman, Ron Heideman, Don Heideman, Dick Carter and Doug Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Milton; two sons-in-law, Bill Carter and Alvin Heideman.
