James F. Strehlo

Funeral services for James F. Strehlo, 74, of rural Winnebago, Minnesota will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Truman, Minnesota with the Rev. Nancy Linn officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at Zaharia Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Truman and one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Strehlo died Friday, October 14, 2005 at his home in rural Winnebago, Minnesota. James F. Strehlo was born August 14, 1931 in Medo Township, Blue Earth County, Minnesota to Adolph and Cecelia (Proehl) Strehlo. He loved working with heavy machinery and worked in construction for most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Delores Strehlo of Winnebago, MN; children: daughter Helen Strehlo of Madison, WI, son, Michael Strehlo of San Diego, CA, son, Paul Strehlo and wife Pam of Cottage Grove, MN, daughter Angela Farala and husband Gil of San Diego, CA, son Doug Strehlo of Faribault, MN, son Dan Strehlo and wife, Donna of Mapleton, MN, son Darrell Strehlo and wife Rhonda of Rapid City, SD, son Jerry Thompson of Austin, MN; son, Luke Thompson of Winnebago, MN; brother Donald Strehlo and wife Norma of Isanti, MN; sister Dorothy Rosen of Nicollet, brother Cecil "Bud? Strehlo and wife Penny of Mapleton, MN and twelve grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his first wife Eleanor; son David; and infant daughter; a sister Marge Gooding and brother-in-law Marvin Rosin.
