Elmer R. Greiner

Funeral services Elmer R. Greiner, 93 of Truman, MN will be at 10:00 am Monday October 17, 2005 at St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim rural Truman, MN. Interment is in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery-Antrim. Visitation is from 2-4 pm Sunday at the Zaharia Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Truman, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. Mr. Greiner of Truman died Friday October 14, 2005 at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman. Elmer was born March 24, 1912 in Antrim Township to Louis and Ida (Joblinski) Greiner. He was baptized at the Antrim Church on April 7, 1917 and confirmed on April 5, 1925. Elmer attended parochial school in Antrim. He finished his education in public school then stayed home to help his parent's farm until he married Selma Kopischke May 3, 1936 in Willow Creek. Elmer was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Antrim. Elmer is survived by his wife Selma, son DuWayne and wife Vickie, grandson Jeffrey and wife Carol, granddaughter Lisa Hagstrom and her husband David; 7 great grandchildren and 1 sister Cel Boesch. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother in law Luther Boesch.
