Funeral services for Rose F. Maday, 100 years, of Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, Minnesota will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2005, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont with Father Kevin Connolly officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery in East Chain, Minnesota. Mrs. Maday passed away on Thursday evening, August 4, 2005, at Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center in Fairmont, after suffering a stroke on July 29th. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2005, at Zaharia Family Funeral and Cremation Service and one hour prior to the service at the church. A Parish Prayer Service will be at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Rose F. Maday was born on September 4, 1904, in Silver Lake Township, Martin County, Minnesota, the daughter of Ed and Helen (Charnecki) Nawrocki. She attended school District 83. On January 10, 1928, Rose was united in marriage to Julius Maday at East Chain. Julius passed away in 1976. Rose was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Survivors include four sons, Donald Maday and special friend Jolene Freeman, James Maday and wife Harla, Leroy Maday and wife Dorothy, Dwayne Maday and wife Bobbie, all of Fairmont, MN; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Gertrude Traetow of Fairmont, MN and Regina Faulkner of Carson City, NV; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Sprague of Fairmont and Leonna Nolte of Charles City, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 4 sisters, 2 brothers and a daughter-in-law.
