Florence Faye Kesselring

A Celebration of Life service for Florence "Flossie? Kesselring, 79, Fairmont, MN, will be held on Wednesday, May 4th, 2005 at 1:30 pm at the United Methodist Church, Fairmont. Mrs. Kesselring died Saturday, April 30th, 2005 at the Lakeview Methodist Health Care Center, Fairmont. Inurnment of cremation remains will follow the service at Center Creek Cemetery, rural Granada, MN. Arrangements are being handled by Zaharia Family Funeral and Cremation Service of Fairmont. Florence Faye Crawford was born on March 20th, 1926 in Huntley, MN, to Carl and Mildred (Chance) Crawford. She graduated from Granada High School. Flossie was employed at Central Telephone Company and Sears in Fairmont and Telex in Blue Earth. On September 1st, 1944, Florence married Cecil Kesselring in Estherville, IA. They resided in Fairmont, rural Granada and Northrop. Flossie was a member of the United Methodist Church of Fairmont and the Northrop American Legion Auxiliary for 35 years. She served as the District President of the 2nd District Auxiliary from 1991-1992. Florence is survived by her husband Cecil, Fairmont; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Wiese and her husband David of Centuria, WI and Barbara Landin and her husband Warren of Granada, MN; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Henry of Fairmont and Carole Joeckel and her husband Rollin of Burnsville, MN; one sister-in-law, Joyce Anderson and her husband Roger of Fairmont. Florence was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Cecelia; one brother; three sisters and two brothers-in-law. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
