Mildred Sophia Frese

Funeral services for Mildred S. Frese, 91, Truman, MN, will be held on Monday, April 25th, 2005 at 10:30 am at St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim, rural Truman. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Mrs. Frese died Thursday, April 21st, 2005 at the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 24th, 2005 from 5-7:00 pm at Zaharia Family Funeral and Cremation Service of Truman and one hour before the services in the church on Monday. Mildred Sophia Urban was born on June 9th, 1913 in Pleasant Mound Township, rural Amboy, MN to Albert and Ernestina Kietzer Urban. She was confirmed April 10th, 1927 at St. John's Lutheran Church-Willow Creek by Rev. Cloeter. Mildred attended parochial school at St. John's Lutheran School-Willow Creek. On September 13th, 1962, she married Arnold Frese at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Parsonage in Amboy, MN. Arnold died in June of 1981. Mildred entered the Lutheran Retirement Home in Truman shortly after Arnold's death. Mildred was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church-Antrim and a member of the Lewisville American Legion Auxiliary. Mildred was an avid Minnesota Twins Fan. Mildred is survived by three sisters, Lorna Pahl and her husband Duane, Truman, MN, Mabel Klaus, Mankato, MN, and Lucille Wollschlager, Vernon Center, MN and numerous nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband and two brothers-in-law.
