Clara Wilhelmine Miller

Memorial services for Clara W. Miller, 94 of Madelia, Minnesota, formerly of Lewisville, Minnesota will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fieldon, rural Lewisville, Minnesota. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Miller died Thursday, August 19, 2004 at the Luther Memorial Home in Madelia, Minnesota. Olson-Zaharia Funeral Home of Truman arranged services for the family. Clara Wilhelmine Behrens, the daughter of Carl and Anna Wilhelmina (Salge) Behrens, was born May 9, 1910 in South Branch, Watonwan County, Minnesota. She attended school. On February 19, 1939, Clara married Harvey Wilhelm Miller at St. John's Lutheran Church parsonage in South Branch. They farmed for several years and Mr. Miller died January 21, 1954 at Minneapolis following a car accident. Clara managed the farm where she continued to make her home and later cared for her mother for several years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Fieldon, rural Lewisville, Minnesota where she played the organ. Survivors include special friends, Sylvia Denn, Todd Arndt and Troy Arndt and many nieces and nephews. Clara was preceded in death by her parents, husband and seventeen brothers and sisters.
