Mabel V. Graf

Funeral services for Mabel V. Graf, 91, Madelia, MN formerly of Lewisville, MN will be held on Wednesday, July 28th, 2004 at 2:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville. Interment will take place in the church cemetery. Mrs. Graf died Sunday morning, July 25th, 2004 at the Luther Memorial Home, Madelia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27th, 2004 from 5-7:00 pm at Olson-Zaharia Funeral Home in Truman and one hour before the services in the church Wednesday. Mabel V. Schaefer was born on July 30th, 1912 in Lewisville, MN to Edwin and Anna (Sosinski) Schaefer. She grew up in Lewisville where she attended grade school and graduated from Pipestone High School on 1930. She completed a secretarial course at the Mankato Commercial College in 1931. Mabel married Rudolph W. Graf , October 5th, 1934 at the Zion Lutheran Parsonage. She worked for Tilney Farms in Lewisville from 1957-1984. Rudolph died in 1993. Mabel entered Luther Memorial Home in February of 1999. Mabel is survived by one daughter, Barb Christopher, North Mankato, MN; one son, Michael Graf of Mead, Neb.; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Byron Schaefer and his wife Marie, Lewisville, MN; one sister, Alta Larson and her husband Lester, St. James, MN; one sister-in-law, Blanche Schaefer, Madelia, MN and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter-in-law, Charlotte; one granddaughter; two brothers and one sister-in-law. Memorial contributions may be given to Zion Lutheran Church in Lewisville.
