Funeral services for Eddie R. Graham, 68, Truman, Minnesota will be held Friday, June 18, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Waverly Lutheran Church, rural Trimont, Minnesota. Interment will be at Waverly Lutheran Cemetery, rural Trimont. Mr. Graham died Monday afternoon, June 14, 2004 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2004 at Olson-Zaharia Funeral Home in Truman and one hour prior to the service at the church. Edward Ronald Graham was born August 22, 1935 at St. Paul, Minnesota to Vinton and Faye (Scearcy) Graham. At age five, the family moved to Pasadena, California where he attended grade school. At age thirteen, he moved to Truman, Minnesota to live with his grandparents, Bert and Minnie Scearcy and graduated from Truman High School in 1953. Eddie attended The Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota for one year. He returned to Truman and began farming and raising turkeys in 1955. On February 15, 1958, Eddie married Dorothy Ann Johnson at Waverly Lutheran Church, rural Trimont, Minnesota. Eddie farmed with his sons, Steve and Brett, and continued to farm until his death. Eddie was a board member of the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association. He enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, fast pitch softball and baseball and was an avid card player. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Eddie is survived by his wife, Dottie Graham of Truman, Minnesota; one daughter, Velda Bell and her husband, Geoff of Duluth, Minnesota; one son, Steven Graham and his wife, Vanessa of Truman, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Nick and Jennifer Graham; one daughter-in-law, Robbin Neusch and her three children, Marissa, Dillon and Colton of Armstrong, Iowa; one sister, Carole Hendricks and her husband, Gene of Lincoln, California; and nieces and nephews. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Brett, and twin infant daughters. Memorial contributions may be given to the donor's choice.
