Marsha Edith Leimer

Memorial services for Marsha E. Leimer, 52, of Truman, Minnesota will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2004, at 6:00 p.m. at Olson-Zaharia Funeral Home in Truman. Marsha died Monday morning, April 5, 2004 at the Fairmont Medical Center-Mayo Health System in Fairmont. Visitation will be held at Olson-Zaharia Funeral Home in Truman on Wednesday, April 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Marsha Edith Leimer was born April 3, 1952 in Fairmont, Minnesota to Ernest and Flora Harms Leimer. She attended parochial school at St. James Lutheran School in Northrop and graduated from Truman High School in 1970. Marsha then attended and graduated from Abbott-Northwestern with a Registered Nursing Degree. Marsha was a registered nurse for Hennepin County Medical Center. She retired in 1995 due to illness and moved back to Truman where she resided until her death. Marsha enjoyed walking, movies, reading, gardening, fishing, spending time with her nieces and nephews and her neighboring day care kids. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Truman. Marsha is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Don Squier of Rochester, Minnesota; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Darlene Leimer of Fairmont, Minnesota, Paul and Sharon Leimer and Glen and Melody Leimer, all of Truman, Minnesota; one sister-in-law, Ellie Leimer of Chanhassen, Minnesota; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Leimer. Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
