Mary Ann Bursell

Funeral services for Mary A. Bursell, 73, Truman, MN will be held on Wednesday, December 17th, 2003 at 10:30 am at Olson-Zaharia Funeral Home, Truman. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Fairmont, MN. Mrs. Bursell died Sunday, December 14th, 2003 at her home in Truman. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 16th, from 4-7:00 pm at Olson-Zaharia Funeral Home, Truman and one hour before the services in the funeral home on Wednesday. Mary Ann Dyslan was born March 5, 1930 in Fairmont, MN to Roy and Mammie Dyslan. She attended schools in Fairmont and in California. She married Marlin Bursell in Truman, MN, in 1949. Mary worked as a waitress in Truman at the Standard Station and the Chat and Chew. Mary and Marlin later divorced. She worked at Teledyne in Blue Earth and Armour Co. in Fairmont. Mary retired in the early 1980's. Mary enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and sewing her quilt patterns. Mary is survived by one son, John Bursell, Truman; Special Friend, Bob Lemkee, Truman; one son-in-law, Tom Weichert, Houston, MN; one brother, Wilbur Dyslan and his wife Joyce, Minneapolis; one sister, Irene Malmanger, Madelia, MN; nine grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Marcia; one son, Jim and four brothers.
