Zaharia Family Funeral Home is committed to helping families through the difficult process of arranging a funeral for a loved one. We offer many services that will assist you in planning a funeral as special as the individual being remembered. The staff of Zaharia Family Funeral Home will take care of every detail that needs attention and we will do so in a timely manner.

At the time of death, simply call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We will go directly to the place of death and remove the remains providing shelter and care at one of our three locations. Upon request, the remains will be embalmed and the preparation for the funeral will begin.

A meeting time will be set up so the funeral arrangements can be discussed. We will contact a clergy member for you and help in deciding when the services, visitation and burial will be held. At the arrangement conference, we will assist you in obituary preparation, gather information for the death certificate, choose folder and thank you cards, help with arranging music and lunch for the funeral and assist in the selection and ordering of floral tributes. Your family will be given a variety of choices of caskets and vaults or cremation caskets and urns. We pride ourselves in taking the burden off the families we serve. We will contact the church, pallbearers, car drivers, florist, and ladies circle for the lunch, musicians, hairdresser, cemetery, grave digger, vault company, social security, insurance company, newspapers and monument company for final date lettering. If the family requires any other contacts be made, we will certainly do so. The funeral home will oversee the visitation, funeral and burial services. Following the funeral, we will deliver flowers with notification of whom they are from. Our services don’t end when the funeral is over.
