Stella Margaret Scott, the daughter of George and Esther (Seller) Scott was born on January 30, 1917 in Lewisville, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church. On September 4, 1940 she was united in marriage to Gerhard Richter at the Zion Lutheran parsonage. Stella worked at the turkey plant in Madelia and at the Truman Nursing Home for many years.

Stella loved shopping, gardening, crocheting and sewing. She loved to spend time with her family.

Stella is survived by her daughter; Sharon (James) Flestead of Owatonna, five grandchildren; Scott, Tony and Cari Felstead, Tammy Lieffring and Regina Caswell, 11 great-grandchildren; Tiffany, Tara, Marlina, Trey and Gina Felstead, Garrett and Chelsea Lieffring, Elizabeth, Jacquelin, Rebecca and Luke Caswell, 4 great-great-grandchildren: Eliana, Youlanda, Rihanna and Eli Jr. Hinajosh, 2 sisters; Erma Pygman of Trimont, Leone (Harold) Peterson of Harris, MN, brother; Lloyd Scott of Elmhurst, IL, sister-in-law; Ruby Scotta of Sparta, TN and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter; Beverly Mohwinkel, son-in-law; Roscoe Mohwinkel and brother, Raymond Scott.
