SERVICE: Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, Truman, MN
CEMETERY: Nashville Cemetery, Nashville Township

Mark James Roberts was born on July 11, 1955 in Winnebago, MN to James and LaVerne (Pegors) Roberts. Mark attended school in Truman, graduating in 1973. During high school, he worked at Lloyd Williams Standard Station in Truman. After school, Mark worked at Fairmont Railway Motors, Mark IV Trailer Houses and farmed with his father. Mark has worked for 3M in Fairmont for the past thirty years. On June 28, 1999 Mark was united in marriage to Candy Jones. Mark enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, bird watching and gardening. He was a true animal lover. He was an avid fan of the Vikings, Twins and Nascar. He loved visiting and spending time with his family. Mark was a very kind man and will be greatly missed by his family. Mark died on Thursday evening, January 14, 2010 near Worthington, MN as a result of an automobile accident.

Mark is survived by his wife, Candy of Truman; two daughters, Holly Sieg and her husband, Steve of Spencer, IA, Renae Steinhoff and her husband Matthew of Jasper, MN; one step-son, Alex Jones and special friend, Verzette Joyner of Norfolk, NE; three grandchildren, Brandon Sieg, Kaitlyn and Cody Steinhoff; one brother, Darwin Roberts and his wife Sandy of Granada, MN; three sisters, Delight Shell and husband Jim of Welcome, MN, Joyce Hamelau and husband Jerry of Alexandria, MN, Bette Alexander of Seattle, WA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernie and Barb Jones of Truman; one sister-in-law; three brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his parents.
