Mass of Christian Burial for James R. Hoffman, 89, Truman, MN, formerly of Fairmont, will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 10:30 am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont. Interment will take place at Lake Belt Cemetery, rural Ceylon, MN. Mr. Hoffman died on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Truman Senior Living Center. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the church.

James was born in Matador, North Dakota on January 25, 1920. James lived in Minneapolis for many years where he worked as a custodian for the Radisson Hotel.

James is survived by two sisters and one brother.
