| September 2005 This is to say good bye to Rudy. I got to know him rather late. The last letter between my grandfather and his brother, Rudy's father, was written in the fifties of the last century. Around fourty years later we got in contact again to "our Americans". I have had the chance to visit Fairmont. Together with Gene Rudy picked me up at the airport, gave me a warm welcome and the feeling to be a member of the family. So at the end I'm very glad that I had the opportunity to meet Rudy, to talk with him and to spend some time in a pleasant athmosphere. I'm grateful for that.
